| 36 year old Phase I, Arkansas Research Medical Testing firm acquired by Research Solutions |
Little Rock, Ark.– Research Solutions, LLC, a Phase II-IV clinical trials management organization, has acquired Arkansas Research Medical Testing, Inc., a Phase I-IIa clinical trials research testing center. Both firms are located in Little Rock. The transaction was financed through a combination of bank debt and equity capital provided by Research Solutions’ existing investors and a new outside investor. Mr. Jennings Osborne, the well-known founder of Arkansas Research Medical Testing, Inc., will continue as a development consultant. Mr. David J. Jones, President and CEO of Research Solutions, LLC, has been appointed President and CEO of Arkansas Research as well. Arkansas Research, founded in 1968, is considered one of the country’s largest Phase I facilities, having conducted clinical trials for all the major pharmaceutical companies. The firm conducts clinical trials in its overnight private and semi-private, extended stay facility. The Arkansas Research complex is capable of housing 200 patients for single or concurrent trials. The majority of Research Solutions' Phase II-IV clinical trials are conducted on an outpatient basis. “Arkansas Research’s extensive database and fast recruiting skills makes us one of the most reliable choices in the industry.
